"I work as a Digital Press Operator at Graphic Technologies, inc. Getting my degree in photography has definitely helped me along the way with knowing how to work with colors and curves, making my digital prints at work up to my customers standards. Though my work does not allow me to make my own creations, I still love what I do and am happy to be in the business I am. 

My most favorite type of photography are those made strictly with the camera and its surroundings, (not added to and or edited to make something spectacular).  I strongly believe that a true photographer can make just as beautiful photographs in this way than any other photographer who relies on computer editing software skills to "help out" their works.  Sometimes I wish photographs were still made "the old fashioned" way.  So much so, that I plan a darkroom of my own some day.  My works are called "Light Paintings." I make them using my camera and the many different lighting situations I find myself mesmerized by while making them.  When you look at my work, you are looking at one frame from the camera. You will not have to question how much of it was edited or how many frames it took to make that one image.  I am not only the photographer of these works, but also the maker! I am the human who stands in front of that camera and dances with my chosen light emitting object at the time. I enjoy this very much; as I get to be free with my lights as I dance among them." - Anastacia
